Walk for Hope and Race for Steak

October 2018

The Thad & Alice Eure Walk for Hope is one of the nation’s largest and oldest fundraisers benefiting mental health research and treatment. There are three options for Walk participants: a 10k, a 5k, and a 1-mile nature hike around the Angus Barn Lake. The Race for Steak is a USA Track & Field Certified Run (NC091116NW). The 5k and 10k timed events are held as a part of the Walk for Hope.

In 2017, over 2,800 participants raised over $470,000 for the research and treatment of mental illness!

Evening of Hope

Fall 2018

Our annual gala event is an occasion for celebration and a time to shine a light on mental health. Held at the elegant Pavilion at the Angus Barn, the evening includes a delicious meal, wine pairings, and live and silent auctions. In 2017, we were pleased to announce special guest and keynote speaker Jane Pauley.
