Walk for Hope

For the Kids

The Foundation of Hope recognizes the importance of giving back to our community and helping others. Teaching this to our children is an important step in their future. For that reason, the Walk for Hope strives to make the annual Walk for Hope a family friendly event encouraging the entire family to come out together and take steps for those with mental illness.

The Walk for Hope offers a Family Pack registration for families (up to five persons $150.00) and a special gift for our young walkers 12 and under. Note: It is not required that all persons in family pack be actual family members.

"The future of our country depends on the mental health and strength of our young people. However, many children have mental health problems that interfere with normal development and functioning. In the US today, one in ten children suffer from a mental disorder sever enough to cause some level of impairment."

— National Institute of Mental Health
