To celebrate the life of George Thanhauser, the Bike for Hope is an annual event to benefit the Foundation of Hope. In 2011, the Bike for Hope boasted tremendous success. Bikers of all experience levels gathered to participate in a 15, 35 or 50-mile bike ride in North Raleigh. As always, the post-ride celebration was a blast! For over 20 years, the Foundation of Hope has been hosting the annual Walk for Hope, a 10k walk starting at the Angus Barn Restaurant in Raleigh, NC and looping around William Umstead State Park.
The is also a 5k option and a one-mile family fun walk around the Angus Barn Walk. The event also features the Run for Hope, a USA Track & Field certified 10k run (same route as the walk).
Our famous post-walk celebration is sure to be the biggest and best ever!
Walk registration opens at 8am - walkers start at 10am
Run registration/chip pick-up opens at 7am - runners take off at 8am
To participate:
-Register as an individual or team.
-Collect or contribute at least $60 per walker ($30 for full-time students)
-Special Family Pack available for $150 (up to 5 people)

4th Annual Artists for Hope Show
Sunday & Monday, November 13-14, 2011
Inside the Angus Barn Restaurant in Raleigh, NC
A fun way to do your holiday shopping while supporting a great cause!! The Artists for Hope Show features local exhibitors selling their wares and donating 25% of their proceeds to the Foundation of Hope. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
Items for sale include: handmade jewelry, one-of-a-kind paintings, unique accessories, handmade note cards, pottery, food items, North Carolina items, great gift ideas and more.
Additional features:
-Artwork from "Brushes with Life: Art, Artists, & Mental Illness", a patient art gallery located at the UNC Neurosciences Hospital
-Showing of the documentary, “Brushes with Life”
-Raffles
-Artist Demos

Join Friends of the Foundation of Hope for an evening of fun at The Mint in downtown Raleigh.

• Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres served throughout the evening, courtesy of The Mint

17th Annual Ross-Nelson Golf Tournament
